The area of specialization is open, though fields of expertise may include literary studies, film and media studies, and/or the study of visual and material culture. The successful candidate will teach four courses annually over the course of three academic quarters, advise undergraduate and graduate students, and contribute to a vibrant interdisciplinary community of scholars of Asian cultures at Northwestern. This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment, does not include summer salary, and is subject to negotiation.
