Job summary

Pearle Vision in Washington, DC is seeking an Associate Optometrist to deliver NECE and lead patient care in collaboration with the Store Manager and Field Leadership.

You will greet patients, perform examinations per protocols, establish strong doctor-patient relationships, and coach Associate Doctors on clinical procedures while ensuring accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry with current knowledge of optometric technology and practices.
• Developed communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conveys commitment to patient service and NECE execution.
• Greet patients and answer phones when needed.
• Conduct services per Clinical Protocols and standards of care.
• Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Establish positive doctor/patient relationships.
• Coach Associate Doctors on clinical protocols and audits.
• Collaborate with store staff to ensure a seamless eyecare experience.
• Support training in orientation, front desk, pre-testing, and HIPPA compliance.
