Job summary

Target Optical in Texas seeks an Associate Optometrist (OD) to provide high-quality eye and vision care and support patients’ overall health. You will examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the visual system while collaborating with store teams to deliver outstanding patient experiences.

Graduate of an accredited School or College of Optometry, state licensure, and DPA/TPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School or College of Optometry.
• Knowledge of current Optometric technology and practices.
• Strong communication skills – verbal & listening.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality optometric care and services to your patients.
• Establish a positive Doctor/Patient relationship.
• Conduct all services in accordance with clinical protocols and accepted standards of care.
• Ensure all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize and effectively leverage technology to deliver unsurpassed patient and customer experiences.
• Collaborate with store/practice team and leadership to maintain a safe, motivating work environment.
• Ensure the office quality systems are maintained.
• Maximize relationships through leadership, participation and involvement.
• Provide training and guidance to team members using company programs.
• Strive to exceed KPI and performance expectations.
• Help establish the brand as a leading optical provider in the community.
