Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Associate Optometrist to lead clinical care and uphold the brand promise across our EyeCare centers. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, deliver high-quality optometric services, and collaborate with store leadership to grow patient relationships.

The role requires a Doctor of Optometry, active state licensure, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Residency training is preferred; prior medical eyecare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree required.
• Commitment to quality patient care.
• Knowledge of Medical Optometry including Billing and Coding.
• Knowledge of Surgical Care and practices pertaining to Optometry.
• Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Residency training preferred.
• Medical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to deliver high-quality optometric care.
• Partner with MOD and SMM to maximize results.
• Provide medical eye care, referrals, and pre/post-op support.
• Ensure standards of care and strong doctor-patient relationships.
• Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.
