Job summary

As part of mission support, you may operate airborne EO/IR sensors on Gulfstream aircraft during occasional 1–2 week trips.

Documentation of changes through engineering change notices and root-cause analysis is expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics or related field, or recent graduate.
• Experience with optical design tools like Zemax or Code V preferred.
• Strong math and data analysis skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test optical design, analysis, integration, and test procedures.
• Operate with Zemax, Code V, and Matlab for design and analysis.
• Provide multi-discipline support to instrumentation production and testing.
• Document changes via engineering change notices and root-cause analysis.
• Assist in airborne EO/IR sensor data collection missions on Gulfstream flight tests.
