Job summary

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Operator. The role operates plant equipment to ensure safe, quality, and efficient operation, including monitoring control systems, taking samples, writing Safe Work Permits, and performing area checks.

This position is seconded from Dow to Diamond Infra until January 1, 2027, after which it will report directly to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions. Overtime, night shifts, and emergency response duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with an Associates degree in Process Technology.
• 3+ years of relevant military experience.
• 2+ years of industrial manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow operating discipline principles to ensure safe, efficient plant operation.
• Operate and field check process equipment.
• Monitor process conditions, equipment, and control systems.
• Perform tasks per Master Task List, e.g., field checks and samples.
• Ensure activities align with plant and business goals.
• Use troubleshooting skills to resolve process, product quality, safety, and environmental issues.
• Initiate and participate in root cause investigations.
• Coach and train others on plant operations.
• Conduct immediate response activities as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Maintain high safety and environmental stewardship.
