DoorDash Labs seeks a Senior Service Operations Lead for the Bay Area, overseeing technicians to maximize uptime and support fleet utilization. You’ll report to the Operations Manager, Service, and work on-site in the Bay Area, CA. Prior leadership of field teams and strong KPI discipline are required.

Valid U.S. driver’s license and MVR check are required. The role includes equity opportunities and a compensation package with a starting salary in the stated range.

Formación

• 6+ years in service operations, field service, or technical operations.
• 2+ years leading service technicians or field teams, with ownership of performance and execution.
• Strong experience with work order systems and operational KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, throughput, SLA).
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and driving results through others.
• Experience scaling operations, launching new markets, or supporting infrastructure buildouts.
• Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, electric vehicles, aircraft, or similar complex systems (preferred).
• Mobile/field service background (preferred).
• Familiarity with service platforms like MaintainX, JIRA, or similar (preferred).
• Exposure to technical environments (diagnostics, APIs, scripting, Python, GitHub) (nice to have).
• Believe in 1% improvement every day.

• You may flex to nights or weekends to oversee and spot check the team and support the operation.

About the Role

You will lead the Service Operations team for the Bay Area market at DoorDash Labs. You will lead experienced and new technicians to maximize uptime and support our overall fleet utilization goals. You will report to the Operations Manager, Service in our DoorDash Labs organization. You must be located in the Bay Area, CA, and this is an on‑site role with a 100% in‑office expectation.

Valid U.S. driver’s license required and a successful completion of MVR required.

Compensation

The starting salary will fall within the range of $101,400 to $149,000 USD and is determined based on job‑related factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The base salary is localized according to employee work location and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
