Huntington is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to oversee assigned portfolios and support the NST Portfolio Management Team Lead, Regional Credit Officer, and Relationship Managers in underwriting, monitoring, and reporting on commercial loans and client relationships. Responsibilities include portfolio reporting, risk analysis, concentration review, and MIS delivery.
You will partner with RMs to grow revenue while maintaining credit quality and regulatory compliance.
Working under direct supervision, the Commercial Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing assigned portfolio(s) and providing support to NST Portfolio Management Team Lead, Regional Credit Officer and Relationship Manager team (RM’s) in the areas of credit underwriting, portfolio management, compliance, and monitoring of new and existing loans and customer relationships within the portfolio.
Assist with portfolio reporting, exposure tracking, trend analysis, and management information reporting. Support reviews of settlement activity, account performance, concentration risk, and portfolio quality metrics. Participate in portfolio reviews and special credit projects designed to enhance risk identification and monitoring capabilities. Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of financial and operational information required to support portfolio management decisions. Manage a portfolio of commercial loans and customers in partnership with the assigned relationship manager, Regional Credit Officer and other stakeholders. Service, deepen, and retain assigned profitable customer relationships by proactively evaluating and mitigating associated business risks and opportunities. Optimize customer relationships working directly with Relationship Managers to grow fees, deposits, and portfolio revenue. Own primary responsibility for the credit quality and monitoring of Commercial portfolio risks. Responsible for risk rating new credits and ongoing updating of risk grades in assigned portfolio. Responsible for underwriting quality, portfolio administration, and ongoing credit quality of assigned portfolio. Participate in presenting proposed credit actions in written analysis document and as necessary, verbally to Regional Credit Officer and/or Senior Regional Credit Officer. Conduct portfolio reviews with management and analyze existing portfolio to identify trends and opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned.

$57,000.00 - $113,000.00 Annual Salary. The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.
Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
