Associate Mill - Lathe Machinist III / Programmer

Join our team as an Associate Mill - Lathe Machinist III / Programmer at TTE Staffing.

We are seeking an energetic CNC Mill - Lathe Machinist/Programmer to expand our business operations. CR Machine, a family-owned company for over 50 years, is located in Billerica with easy access to major highways. Our facility is clean, equipped with advanced technology, and services industries specializing in stainless steel & high-temp alloys. This position is available immediately for 1st shift.

Responsibilities:
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machine tools including multi-axis lathes.
  • Handle various metals from raw stock to finished product independently.
  • Stay updated with current cutting tools and machining practices.
  • Plan and lay out work based on customer drawings and specifications, including determining speeds, feeds, tolerances, and machine operation sequences.
  • Perform machine setups, adjustments, and trial cuts.
  • Finish metal work manually or with machines.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, surface gages, profilometers, CMM, vision systems, and dial indicators.
  • Calculate complex angles and dimensions using trigonometry and shop mathematics.
  • Utilize CAD software like Fusion360 (preferred) or Mastercam for programming.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience, but not required.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
