Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a newly graduated Associate, Manufacturing Engineer to support production of high‑reliability electronic hardware for Tactical Satellite equipment in San Diego, CA. You will develop work instructions, establish labor standards, and assist senior engineers with new product introductions and process improvements.

Responsibilities include manufacturing plans, tooling and cost estimates, and collaboration with IPTs to ensure smooth transitions from Engineering to Production.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
• Develop processes, work instructions, and labor standards.
• Coordinate with IPTs to transfer products from engineering to production.
• Assist with new product introductions and root-cause investigations.
• Support KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
