Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, AR seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support production of high-reliability electronic hardware for Tactical Satellite equipment. You will assist with SMT soldering, mechanical integration, and environmental testing, while establishing work instructions and process controls.

Responsibilities include collaborating with senior engineers on NPI, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement, plus contributing to labor standards and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial engineering or related field, or recent graduate (within 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
• Design, develop, and transfer manufacturing tools, strategies, and systems.
• Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes.
• Interface with engineering to coordinate the release of new products.
• Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Maintain records and reporting systems to coordinate manufacturing operations.
• Work with cross-functional IPTs to transfer new products from Engineering to Production.
• Create work instructions, assembly routings, and labor/cycle time standards.
• Perform economic analyses to address variances in labor and cycle times.
• Develop/procure tooling and qualify materials for new product introduction (NPI).
• Attend shift huddles and monitor product line KPIs.
