Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Associate Merchant at our corporate office to support the Category Director and Category Merchants across all channels, including assortment development, merchandising strategy execution, and implementing merchandising plans for stores.

Responsibilities include category analysis, vendor evaluation, plan-o-guides development, and contributing to weekly and monthly reviews while building strong cross-functional relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for the role.
• 1–3 years of related Merchandise/Buying experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative mindset and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Category Director and Category Merchants with merchandising processes across channels.
• Assist with assortment development and execution of merchandising strategy.
• Prepare analyses and reports to support vendor meetings and planning.
• Contribute to development of plan-o-guides, display guides, and promotional materials.
