Job summary

Walmart Bentonville, AR seeks an Associate Merchant to support category management for Baby - Feeding & Nursing. You will assist with supplier negotiations, item setups for stores and online channels, and ensure content accuracy and taxonomy guidance across platforms.

Collaborate with planners and analysts on budgeting, forecasting, and modular assortment execution while maintaining strong vendor relationships and driving business results.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Support senior merchants in supplier negotiations and manage financials for assigned categories.
• Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate new supplier setups for stores and online channels.
• Own execution of customer communication and education programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of product page content, adhering to taxonomy and search guidelines.
• Analyze category performance data to support budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting.
• Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels.
• Collaborate with planners and analysts to align financial plans and inventory purchases.
• Leverage data tools to generate insights and support technology adoption within scope.
