Job summary

Tal Healthcare is seeking an Associate Medical Physicist to support diagnostic imaging operations in a leading medical facility. You will work with senior physicists to optimize imaging procedures and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Medical Physics or related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid NYS Diagnostic Medical Physics Limited Permit or eligible for licensing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical medical physics experience with diagnostic imaging.
• Strong understanding of imaging equipment calibration and QA standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training or site visits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in calibration, testing, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Perform QA/QC activities to ensure imaging accuracy and safety.
• Support regulatory compliance and license requirements, including NYS permit.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize imaging procedures and outcomes.
• Document procedures, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
