Associate Medical Director - PM&R Physician

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Physiatrist (PM&R Physician) to join our team in Saint Joseph, MO, as the Associate Medical Director. This position comes with a part-time, three-day work week, offering a superb work-life balance coupled with a leadership role in a well-established rehabilitation program. In this role, you will oversee patient care and contribute significantly to the clinical operations and program developments, guiding the rehabilitation services hand-in-hand with an interdisciplinary team and hospital administration.

Salary: $200–$250 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exemplary physical medicine and rehabilitation care to a diverse patient population.
• Lead and manage patient treatment plans collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Develop clinical protocols aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
• Engage actively in program leadership, focusing on quality improvement initiatives and compliance with health standards.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with hospital administration to ensure the seamless delivery of rehabilitation services.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Strong foundation in the principles and practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various health professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a leadership or associate medical director role within a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated track record of leading quality improvement initiatives in a clinical setting.
