Organization Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Support scientific exchange and education for health care professionals and Scientific Experts (SEs) in oncology, focusing on Hematologic Malignancies.
  • Maintain deep therapeutic knowledge about Lilly and competitor products, current issues, and research in oncology.
  • Gather feedback from SEs to inform Lilly's research and strategic direction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external clients and internal partners, serving as a primary Lilly representative.
  • Communicate scientific knowledge effectively and stay updated through continuous learning and literature review.
  • Manage administrative activities, including documentation and resource utilization, in compliance with procedural standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD) with 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Or a master's or bachelor's degree in health sciences with 5+ years of clinical/medical experience in oncology.
  • Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship expected).

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Clinical oncology experience, including working with patients in hospital or outpatient settings.
  • Strong scientific curiosity, communication skills, and ability to handle complex information.
  • Experience servicing customer needs, building professional relationships, and working independently.
  • Proficiency in literature evaluation, presentation, and computer skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% and work weekends as needed.

Location:

  • Ideal candidates should be near a major airport in Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, or Illinois.

Additional Information:

  • This is a field-based role with significant travel requirements.
  • Ability to use electronic communication tools is essential.

The anticipated salary range is $145,500 - $213,400, with eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Actual compensation will depend on experience, education, skills, and location.
