Job summary

Avalere Health is seeking an Associate Media Planner to support the team in preparing, developing, executing and monitoring media plans for assigned clients and campaigns. You will assist in delivering internal and client deliverables and learn the procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day account operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in advertising/marketing/communications and 0-1 year of media planning/buying experience, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and clear written and oral

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or communications.
• 0-1 year of media planning/buying experience (internship acceptable).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop media plans in collaboration with planners and supervisors.
• Use research to derive consumer insights, channel roles, and budgets.
• Gather research and competitive data for client reviews.
• Learn to use syndicated resources and basic media math.
• Create tactical elements of campaigns, such as flow charts and budget trackers.
• Assist in crafting RFPs and briefing Investment teams on insights.
• Help resolve billing discrepancies within designated timelines.
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions and handle day-to-day requests.
