Job summary

Accelevation LLC seeks an early-career Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Ohio. You will support the design, development, and production of electrical switchboards and switchgear, building practical mechanical expertise in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 0-2 years of experience, with SolidWorks proficiency and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of mechanical design or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mechanical design of switchboards and enclosures.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Support product development and engineering changes.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers to ensure designs meet requirements.
• Assist with prototype testing and design reviews.
• Follow engineering standards and project schedules.
