Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 0–3 years’ experience in structural and mechanical product design.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete responsibilities without external motivation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen (required for the North Mankato facility).

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations using Excel, MathCad, and engineering tools.
• Conduct finite element structural analysis.
• Research and analyze customer design requirements.
• Design products applying engineering principles.
• Perform additional activities as directed by management.

Skills

Knowledge of AC or DC synchronous/inductive motors and generators

Experience with rotating equipment and generators

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Excel, MathCad, and other engineering calculation tools

Experience with AutoCAD

Proficient with GD&T

Product design and development experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
