Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field with emphasis on machine design, robotics, mechatronics, hydraulics, tribology, or mechanical testing.
• Strong foundation in engineering statics, dynamics, and solid mechanics.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and ability to independently design and execute experiments.
• Experience with engineering software such as LabView, Matlab, Python, MathCAD, SolidWorks, AutoCAD.
• Excellent project ownership, technical rigor, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and engage with clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on analyses of mechanical equipment failures with collaboration across engineering disciplines.
• Create written reports and presentations for technical and non-technical clients.
• Support an internal client base solving complex mechanical problems.
• Plan and execute custom laboratory tests using traditional and novel methods.
• Perform calculations, reports, and field inspections.
