Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking an Associate, Mechanical Engineer to support new product development and factory operations. You will work with mechanical designers on CAD models and documentation and manage ECOs to ensure design changes are implemented smoothly.

Candidates should be pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related engineering, with preferred exposure to CAD/FEA and structural analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field or completion within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development and factory support of existing products.
• Collaborate with mechanical designers on CAD models and documentation.
• Generate and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
