Job summary

Blue Earth Diagnostics, a Bracco Imaging subsidiary, seeks an Associate Medical Director to lead study-level medical and scientific aspects of diagnostic radiopharmaceutical trials. Hybrid work with onsite days in Needham, MA, requiring strong regulatory and safety oversight.

MD or equivalent is required, with oncology/nuclear medicine experience and US licensure. Travel up to 20% may be needed; collaboration across Clinical Operations, Regulatory, and more is essential for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree required, with postgraduate clinical training in oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine, or pharmaceutical medicine.
• Current or recent licensure/registration in a recognized jurisdiction (e.g., US).
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally, if required.
• Experience in clinical research and regulatory documentation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership for Phase I–IV clinical trials of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Develop and review study documents: protocols, IRBs, CRFs, reports, and regulatory docs.
• Act as sponsor medical monitor for insourced studies; oversee outsourced monitoring approach.
• Oversee eligibility, protocol interpretation, investigator queries, deviations, and safety findings.
• Conduct ongoing medical and safety review; support pharmacovigilance and signal assessment.
• Lead data review, clinical query strategy, and readiness for database lock.
• Interpret results; contribute to clinical study reports and regulatory submissions.
• Build relationships with investigators and sites; support feasibility and recruitment.
• Collaborate with many functions to identify risks, ensure inspection readiness, and meet timelines.
• Provide study-specific medical input for health authority responses and meetings.
• Maintain study-level documentation and contribute to SOPs and process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
