Job summary

ProAmpac is hiring a Material Handler for our Westfield, MA facility. This on-site role offers a 4 on/4 off schedule with 12-hour shifts, plus a strong benefits package and opportunities for quarterly bonuses.

You will work with clamps/fork trucks, scan materials, receive raw materials, and ship finished goods in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Join a leading global flexible packaging company that prioritizes integrity and innovation.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate clamp and/or fork trucks to move materials.
• Familiarity with hand-held scanners and desktop computers for scheduling and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production machines and stock with raw materials and work-in-process.
• Receive raw materials using clamp and/or fork trucks.
• Ship finished goods using clamp and/or fork trucks.
• Pump resin from hopper cars to silo.
• Remove, sort and recycle scrap waste.
• Drive company-owned/leased truck between plant locations.

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Remove, sort and recycle scrap waste
• May be required to perform other housekeeping and/or other manufacturing related functions as required by Management.
• Required to drive the company owned/leased truck between plant locations.
