## Associate, Marketing OperationsApplylocations: New Yorktime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-12080## **Position Information****Hiring Manager:**Chief Operating Officer, Marketing**Department:**Marketing**Department Overview**The Marketing Department is responsible for planning and executing programs to grow revenue, increase market share and enhance the Firm’s brand. The department focuses on strategic marketing initiatives across key stakeholder groups and leverages a wide range of engagement tactics to build recognition of Golub Capital as the premier firm in its markets. Key stakeholder groups include private equity sponsors, investors, financing partners and employees. Centralized departmental functions include marketing content and strategy, communications and PR, advertising, event management, digital marketing and creative services. The Marketing Department collaborates closely with Firm leadership, the Investor Partners Group, Human Resources and the Sponsor Finance Team to develop strategic marketing plans in line with business objectives.**Position Responsibilities**This Associate will support the Firm’s Marketing COO and Head of Marketing in managing the day-to-day operations and important initiatives of the Marketing Department. This individual will play a critical role in establishing operational excellence through vendor onboarding and management, process development and documentation, optimization of cross-functional workflows and stakeholder management. This position involves ensuring seamless project management and execution of operational functions such as budget reporting, managing department-wide implementations and executive communication and approvals.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Assisting in day-to-day operations for the Marketing Team including budgeting, expense management, vendor and resource management and planning and analysis* Managing and coordinating firmwide Marketing projects to ensure timely completion, effective stakeholder communications and alignment with team and firm goals* Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and process documentation* Identifying and implementing improvements to Marketing workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness* Organizing meetings, preparing agendas, sending post-meeting action items and ensuring follow-up for those action items* Coordinating Marketing updates and approvals with senior stakeholders to ensure clear and effective messaging, regular and transparent updates and streamlined approval requests* Preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and assisting in the development and implementation of business and operational plans and progress reporting* Tracking and analyzing department wide key performance indicators (“KPIs”) to assess the effectiveness of operations and identifying areas for improvement**Candidate Requirements***Qualifications & Experience:** Bachelor’s degree required* 3+ years of experience in marketing operations or similar role* Strong project management skills* Exceptional attention to detail* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Excellent written and verbal communications and collaboration abilities* Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics) is a plus* Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI)* Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture**Critical Competencies for Success****Our Gold Standards** define key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered.
