Position InformationHiring Manager:Senior Director, Investor MarketingDepartment:MarketingDepartment OverviewThe Marketing Department is responsible for planning and executing programs to grow revenue, increase market share and enhance the Firm’s brand. The department focuses on strategic marketing initiatives across key stakeholder groups and leverages a wide range of engagement tactics to build recognition of Golub Capital as the premier firm in its markets. Key stakeholder groups include private equity sponsors, investors, financing partners and employees.Centralized departmental functions include marketing content and strategy, communications and PR, advertising, event management, digital marketing and creative services. The Marketing Department collaborates closely with Firm leadership, the Investor Partners Group, Human Resources and the Sponsor Finance Team to develop strategic marketing plans in line with business objectives.Position ResponsibilitiesThe Associate will collaborate closely with their colleagues within Marketing, Investor Partners Group (“IPG”) and other departments across the Firm to develop and execute integrated marketing programs; ensuring programs are aligned to business objectives, enhance the Firm’s brand and are delivered in seamless manner. This individual will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of Golub Capital, our products and solutions and strategic priorities.Investor Marketing campaign strategies include annual general meetings, conferences and sponsorships, digital and multimedia campaigns, email marketing, in-person and virtual events, gifting programs, the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, speaking engagements, through leadership and educations campaigns, webcasts and quarterly calls.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Supporting large-scale channel marketing programs through partnership with IPG, Product Specialists, Events and Shared Services Teams. These events may include advertising, web, social media, industry conferences, thought leadership and major sales programs to build awarenessSupporting the development and execution of marketing plans and assisting in communication with internal stakeholdersDeveloping strong relationships to effectively collaborate with Marketing partners and across the business to achieve Gold Standard resultsPartnering with the Digital Team to execute email campaigns for various audiences via Eloqua and effectively manage workflow for content creation, list generation and email distributionMaintaining and updating channel-specific website content and providing proactive reviews and updates of collateral and webpagesProject managing and preparing content and marketing materials for conferences and events in partnership with various internal stakeholder groupsSupporting investor-facing virtual events including quarterly webcasts and webinarsTracking, analyzing and reporting on effectiveness of marketing programs to help measure success and inform future campaignsOrganizing meetings, preparing agendas, communicating post-meeting action items and driving follow through on key action items to ensure successful project executionContributing to creating an environment where diversity of thought and experience is welcomed and encouragedSupporting the Head of Marketing and the Investor Marketing Team on various marketing projects and functional team operationsCandidate RequirementsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required3+ years of experience in a similar financial services marketing roleKnowledge of alternative investment sales processes and products is preferredStrong project management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and be accountable for multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience with brand amplification and digital marketing platformsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to deliver traditional and digital marketing solutions working as part of a team in collaboration with multiple business stakeholdersProficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft SharePoint and CMS systems (e.g., Seismic) is a plusStrong relationship building skills based on trust and strong work productStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMeticulous attention to detail and “can do” and proactive attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality workDemonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools in day-to-day work, with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, limitations and appropriate use of AI generated outputsEnthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work cultureCritical Competencies for SuccessOur Gold Standards define key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
