Job summary

Enercon Technologies in Gray, ME is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern for Jan-Aug 2027 to assist process engineers in developing manufacturing processes for electronic and electromechanical assemblies, targeting high quality at low cost.

You will design equipment and fixtures, collect data, and help improve safety, efficiency and quality while ensuring projects stay on schedule.

Qualifications

• Declared Mechanical Engineering major (or similar design related program) with a minimum of 1 year completed coursework.
• GPA: 2.5 minimum (3.0+ preferred).

Associate Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern (Jan-Aug 2027)

Assist Process Engineers in developing manufacturing processes for electronic and electromechanical assemblies to yield reliable high-quality assemblies at the lowest possible cost.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 4PM

In the role of Associate Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern:

• Develop and implement manufacturing process technologies, methods and techniques to assist and promote the building of reliable, high quality assemblies at the lowest possible cost.
• Design production equipment and fixtures to aid in the assembly of product while improving operator safety/comfort, reducing labor and improving quality.
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
• Collect, record, and present data.
• Investigate and diagnose product manufacturing issues and respond to internal and external customer requests for changes and improvements.
• Ensure projects are completed on time.
