Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to support high-reliability electronic hardware production for Tactical Satellite equipment, including SMT solder assembly and environmental testing.

You will create work instructions, develop procedures, qualify new tools, and collaborate with IPTs to transfer new products from Engineering to Production, while aiding continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience with soldering and basic electronic manufacturing processes.
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo).
• Basic understanding of 3D printing for prototyping.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt.
• Experience with Minitab or JMP for statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects.
• Design, develop, and transfer manufacturing tools and systems.
• Develop manufacturing strategies for products and processes.
• Interface with engineering to coordinate product releases.
• Estimate costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling.
