We are looking for a Associate Manager, Shopper Marketing interested in a career with a top ranked and growing snack company, to join our Sales department at PIM’s Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey. This position will report to our Director, Shopper Marketing.
Job Overview
The shopper, marketing associate manager plays a critical role and developing and executing shopper, marketing programs that drive conversion and retail growth. As part of a lean, high-impact team, this individual will operate with both strategic input and hands‑on execution, partnering closely with Sales, Brand, and external agencies to bring programs to life across key retail customers and channels.
Responsibilities
Shopper Program Development
- Support the development and lead execution of national and account‑specific shopper marketing programs across priority retailers and channels, working on components including shopper messaging, consumer promotions, retail assets, selling tools and more
- Execute compelling conversion‑driving in‑store and omnichannel tactics (displays, signage, digital, retail media)
- Ideate creative messaging, shopper engagement and conversion driving concepts
- Assist in development and own execution of digital coupons & consumer promotions plan
Retail & Sales Partnership
- Work closely with Sales to customize shopper programs aligned with national brand plans, customer business plans and overall business objectives
- Support key retailer meetings with insights, decks, and activation ideas
- Help translate retailer needs into actionable marketing programs
Insights & Performance Tracking
- Analyze syndicated data (Circana), POS, and shopper insights to identify opportunities
- Track performance of programs and promotions, delivering post‑event recaps and recommendations
- Monitor competitive activity and in‑store execution to inform future plans
- Monitor brand representation at retail through platforms like Numerator Circular tracking, etc.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Retail Media and Creative teams to ensure alignment between consumer campaigns and shopper activations
- Manage relationship with and key deliverables from varying external shopper marketing agencies
- Coordinate with Sales Planning and Category Management on shelving, assortment, and merchandising opportunities
- Manage approval process (marketing, legal, etc.) to deliver assets on time and within budget
Budget Management
- Assist in managing shopper marketing budgets, timelines, and deliverables
- Ensure flawless execution across multiple programs simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, sales strategy, or related CPG roles
- Experience working with retailers (grocery, mass, or convenience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills; experience with syndicated data and Excel/PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail

Worksite
- The PIM Brands Global Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey
- The role requires working on‑site: Monday thru Friday. Work remotely once per month on a Friday.
- Summer Fridays between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend

- The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $85,000.00. PIM Brands takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
