Andros in Bloomfield, NJ is seeking an Associate Gifting & Merchandising Project Manager for the Bonne Maman brand. The role will own the commercialization and supply chain for gifting and eShop products, partnering with marketing, e-commerce, sales, finance, and production to deliver on-time, on-spec gifts and merchandise.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of merchandising, procurement and project management experience in CPG, with strong vendor relationships and cross-functional collaboration

Associate Gifting & Merchandise Project Manager

Andros has an opening for an Associate Gifting & Merchandise Project Manager on our Bonne Maman Brand. The successful candidate will have strong project management, vendor relations, and cross-functional collaboration skills, while enjoying the creativity of bringing new products to life.

They will act as the commercialization and “supply chain owner” of the Bonne Maman gifting businesses, with responsibility for:

• Project managing cross-functional teams internal and external execution of gifting and eShop offerings, as well as branded merchandise.
  • Working closely with marketing, e-commerce, and sales teams to design and build e-commerce and gift products that align with consumer and customer expectations and requirements.
  • Partnering with finance, sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics, and production partners, etc. to ensure projects are delivered on-time and in full.
  • Develop timelines and ongoing tracking tools to ensure timely completion of gifting projects(cross-functional status reports, order and inventory tracking, cost tracking)
• Develop relationships with supply chain partners, which may include copackers, materials vendors, channel-specific warehouses, etc.
  • Sourcing packaging materials to build innovative gifts and e-commerce packs.
  • Identify and own the copacking process to ensure the timely delivery and quality of finished gift items.
  • Setting/meeting deadlines and proactively tracking project progress.
  • Holding external partners and vendors accountable for commitments.
  • Utilizing creative outlook and critical thinking skills to resolve any construction-based issues at copackers.
  • Managing maintaining project-specific budgets.
  • Tracking expenses and billing back partners as needed.
  • Own financials of project, including COGS build up and working with finance to create P&Ls
• Own sample & production materials process (including ordering, shipping, and communicating with vendors)
• Bring experience and expertise to work and negotiate with print and merch vendors to create and produce gift and merchandise items at required quality standards within timeline. Identify, vet, and onboard new vendors as necessary.
• As needed, attend key production dates such as Vendor walk-throughs, Pre-Press printing runs, or production assembly oversight
• Other duties as determined by management.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have print, packaging, and merchandise procurement experience along with 5-7 years of commercialization and/or project management experience in the CPG industry.

Vendor relationship management, project management, and heavy cross-functional experience is required. Individual should be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment and proactively deliver business solutions. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment and will bring a positive attitude to the team.

Nice to have: Experience in designing and building special packs for e-commerce and retail. Experience working with international imports and foods.

Requirements

• Ability to lead/partner with brand, eCommerce and Gifting teams.
• Exceptional time management, project management, and organizational skills
• Ability to research vendors and copackers and negotiate contracts.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Strong computer (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) skills
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Experience

• Experience in the sourcing of packaging materials for consumer goods for holiday gifting and e-commerce.
• Experience with print production, merchandising procurement and project management
• Experience managing contractors building these gift and e-commerce consumer goods.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of merchandising, purchasing, logistics, or project management
• CPG industry (food and beverage, beauty, personal care, etc.) experience required.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree is required, preferably in commercialization, product development, procurement , supply chain, marketing, merchandising or related business fields.

Position reports to Vice President & Head of Supply Chain and Product Development. The position is full-time, exempt, hybrid (in-office 3x per week) located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and is available immediately.
