What You'll Do

In this role, you will support end-to-end logistics with a focus on import and export operations to align with SSI business goals. This position is responsible for executing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the supply chain. The associate manager will leverage best practices, process improvements, and technology to drive growth, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless and cost-effective logistics, inventory management, and transportation solutions.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose office/headquarters in accordance with our Flexible Work policy.

  1. Support daily logistics operations (tracking, transportation, follow-up on shipment discrepancies such as lost/damaged/delayed/misdelivered).
  2. Assist with Customs compliance (C-TPAT, ISA, Customs regulations, HTS codes maintenance).
  3. Resolve customs clearance issues with customs brokers.
  4. Review and process logistics vendor invoices.
  5. Monitor incident reports for shipment exceptions and implement corrective actions.
  6. Conduct vendor QBRs, monitor KPIs, and evaluate performance.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with no experience, in Logistics Management, Transportation, and Import/Export compliance or related fields.
  • Customs broker license, highly preferred.
  • Experience with C-TPAT & ISA web portals.
  • Experience with classification processes.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, critical reasoning, and excellent communication skills.
  • Follow-up skills, proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Assertive, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across all management levels.
  • Willingness to collaborate with internal/external teams (credit, sales, vendors, inventory, legal).
  • Willingness to support sales inquiries and be available for team off-hours support.

What We Offer

The pay range for this level across US locations and functions is $113,600—$170,400 USD. Actual pay depends on role, location, experience, and skills. We also offer performance-based incentives.
