Job Description

Responsible for category planning, sourcing and supplier management in Indirect Professional Services. Leads business purchasers to deliver maximized total cost of ownership (TCO) savings by developing long term category strategies with the Global Professional Services category Director.Ensures implementation of category management - end to end sourcing category ownership by procurement (from demand specification, via development of TCO, Request for Information/Proposal/Quote processesthrough implementation plan and TCO savings monitoring)

Job Duties
  • Lead the development and execution of category sourcing strategies /activities in respective regional spend area.
  • Participate in the negotiation and contract development process.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal clients and strategic suppliers.
  • Work closely with both stakeholder groups to ensure efficient cross - functional collaboration.
  • Support Global Central Procurement in the review and analysis of contract performanceandspend in the Professional Services category.
  • Engage suppliers in addressing and correcting contract performance deficiencies.
  • Support business purchasers in proactive work with internal clients toidentify, forecast and optimize demand and standardize specifications to reduce TCO.
  • Ensure that procurement services are provided according to procurementplan and within budgets, timescales and standards.
  • Plan project activities, prepare timelines and roadmaps.
  • Coordinate project activities, collaborate with project team members.
  • Prepare project deliverables within area of responsibility.
  • Monitor status of project and report to project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and promote teamwork; support/lead efforts to increase employee engagement.
  • Ensure meeting of high ethical standards related to strategic sourcing process.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate and/or procurement environment.

Preferred:

  • Strong experience in sourcing events and in building relationships between stakeholders is essential.
  • Advanced ability on Microsoft Office suite of software is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to deliver sourcing results in complex change management environment.
  • Must have a strong TCO mindset, from sourcing, planning to negotiating.
