Program Management:
Execute programs and/or promotions to enable ZEISS to meet/exceed sales and profitability objectives.
- Execute defined projects and assist in planning key programs and/or promotions aligned with the overall marketing plan.
- Complete all relevant documentation and obtain approvals from key decision makers. Documentation includes, but is not limited to: program briefs, creative briefs, messaging documents, sell-in/training presentations, and customer-facing marketing materials.
- Determine promotional details such as structure, length, timing, and legal approvals.
- Support the Sales Organization in preparing program and promotional training materials, including format, content, and delivery.
- Oversee market promotions targeting specific customer segments using appropriate online and offline channels.
- Provide analysis and project direction input, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to implement promotional plans with key customers and consumer segments.
- Assist in interpreting market factors and supporting growth actions alongside Product Managers and Marketing team members.
- Manage the acquisition of customer and consumer testimonials and develop strategies for effective deployment in-market.
- Brief agencies on promotional needs and provide direction on agency plans.
- Develop and deliver training on programs.
- Create and execute technical specifications for promotion mechanics.
- Research and troubleshoot escalated customer and channel inquiries.
Key Partner Liaison
- Partner with key strategic partners and agencies to ensure ZEISS products, programs, and communications are included on partner sites and within sales organizations.
- Manage calendars, contracts, and deliverables as per agreements.
- Develop, manage, and implement online programs for customers, defining requirements, resources, content, and communications.
- Ensure timely submission of project requests to the Creative Services group.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing on campaigns involving digital tools, platforms, and technologies.
Events Support
- Support company-sponsored customer events (non-tradeshow).
- Support promotional strategies for national tradeshows.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus.
- At least 2 years of marketing experience.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in optical or similar medical/technical product categories.
- Experience managing projects with small teams.
- Experience managing products and promotions across national retail e-commerce partners is a strong plus.
- Inquisitive, people-centric, passionate about effective communication, and energized by connecting people and building community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading, editing, content writing, and research.
- Good business acumen with fluency in technology, media, and current news and culture.
- Outgoing personality capable of developing relationships at all organizational levels and across functions.
- Good listener, quick to understand requests, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Responds positively to direction, takes initiative, and is self-motivated.
- Willing to travel up to 20%.
