Salary Range: $16.00 - $25.50
Looking for someone who can work on/call PRN; hours are not guaranteed each week.
Responsible for light maintenance, repair, and cleaning tasks performed under supervision in a safe, professional manner. Must take extra precautions when working in patient/resident care areas and keep tools out of children's reach.
Must possess basic mechanical knowledge and demonstrate competence with hand tools, meters, measuring devices, and gauges.
Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals is helpful.
Ability to explain conditions and troubleshoot effectively. Must be able to work all shifts and hours as scheduled.
Must comply with all policies and dress code. Able to understand written and verbal communications.
Works independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of federal, state, and local codes, specifications, and ordinances is required.
Additional duties may include installation and maintenance of mechanical and stationary systems, boiler operations, groundskeeping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and bed repair and maintenance, depending on facility size.
May require on-call duties as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience in building maintenance is preferred.
Depending on location, a valid driver’s license and good driving record may be required. CPR/BLS certification may be required upon hire.
