As the
Associate, Car & Light Maintenance, you will provide support to our clients’ drivers and frontline agents with the authorization of repairs, processing pre-approved invoices, supplier email verifications, and responding to electronic communications from suppliers, clients, and drivers. You will also work closely with Case Managers, supervisors, managers, and frontline agents to respond to requests.
A Day in the Life- Apply your technical expertise in car and light-duty repairs, preventative maintenance, and cost management while providing excellent customer service by responding to calls from drivers and suppliers regarding repairs and roadside events.
- Respond to inquiries via supplier portals, email, or internal tools.
- Assist drivers in locating appropriate repair facilities.
- Make outbound calls to suppliers for processing, payment instructions, and service follow-ups.
- Process email returns and pre-approved invoices for payments.
- Negotiate repair prices and review requests for compliance with policies and procedures.
- Authorize valid repairs to control costs and minimize vehicle downtime.
Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
- At least 3 years of automotive knowledge; mechanic experience preferred.
- Active ASE Certification preferred; candidates without it must agree to obtain it within 12 months.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Comfortable working remotely in an inbound call center environment; occasional on-site training may be required.
- Proficiency in PC skills, data entry, and MS Office.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and team skills.
- Own high-speed internet access and a quiet, confidential workspace.
Salary ranges from $49,100 to $67,500 annually, depending on experience and location.
