Qualifications

• Graduate degree in CS/ML/DS or related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with Databricks, API development, and CI/CD tools.
• Background in GenAI concepts.
• Internship or hands-on production ML deployment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to GenAI initiatives, including agentic frameworks and RAG systems.

Our Fortune 50 healthcare insurance client is seeking Machine Learning Engineers to join its growing team focused on building intelligent, scalable solutions that transform healthcare workflows. These roles offer the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives involving GenAI, data science model development, and cloud-native engineering.

You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where projects span from early-stage model experimentation to full-scale production deployment. Whether you're building GenAI-powered applications, developing resilient APIs, or supporting cross-functional teams with versatile engineering skills, your work will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

These roles are through Brooksource's Elevate Program, which will provide consultants access to proprietary professional development, technical training, and opportunities for technical certifications.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to support healthcare authorization and decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, with a focus on low latency, high resiliency, and scalability.
• Contribute to GenAI initiatives, including agentic frameworks and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Collaborate across teams to support capacity needs and ensure delivery of high-priority projects.
• Work within Databricks environments to operationalize data workflows and model pipelines.
• Integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines and maintain version control using Git technologies.

What You Bring:

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Databricks, API development, and CI/CD tools.
• Background in GenAI concepts and frameworks is highly valued.
• Internship or hands‑on experience in deploying ML models in production environments is a plus.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple initiatives and support evolving team needs.
