Job summary

S&P Global in the United States (Dallas area) is seeking a Customer Services professional to support onboarding, data research, and ongoing account maintenance for a syndicated loan platform. You will interact with clients of varying seniority while ensuring data integrity and adherence to procedures across multiple platforms in a fast-paced SAAS environment.

The role offers exposure to finance and banking markets, with opportunities to learn, grow, and cross-train within related divisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize complex issues and projects to completion.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with internet-based applications.
  • Ability to think laterally, provide proper issue analyses, and question current processes.
  • Eager to learn with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding, data research, and processing functions across the Loan Operations Team, ensuring data integrity across platforms.
  • Provide onboarding support for new clients, their team members, and accounts for a smooth, quality-controlled process.
  • Strictly adhere to internal procedures, deadlines, and standards for processing par loan transactions and trades.
  • Proactively identify internal and external account and system issues and coordinate resolutions with partners and management.
  • Capture and channel user feedback, collaborating with leaders and teams on product/service improvements.
  • Be willing to cross-train with neighboring divisions to maintain an agile and capable workforce.

About The Role

The ClearPar Loan Operations division is seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills located in the US to join our global Loan Platforms Account Services Team.

The Team

ClearPar is the first fully operational provider of par and distressed loan closing and recordkeeping services for the syndicated loan market. Through a unique combination of experienced personnel, electronic processing, hardware, and software, ClearPar has built a single platform system to address market demands for efficient settlement of par loan closings. The Loan Platforms Account Services team is responsible for all account setups across multiple platforms and supports all users on our systems.

The Impact

The successful candidate will be a key part of the Loan Platforms team, responsible for maintaining the day‑to‑day operations of our Syndicated Loan Market offering, as well as supporting the questions and requests of our internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

The associate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for all onboarding, data research, and processing functions on the Loan Operations Team. In this position, you will gain exposure to an exciting financial market and interact daily with our clients of varying seniority. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about finance, banking, syndicated loan market, and Software as a Service (SAAS) technology.

  • Support clients and the business with operational duties and all account maintenance support functions to ensure sufficient data integrity, including reviewing onboarding documentation, creating and maintaining entity identifiers, user and trade accounts across multiple platforms, assisting clients with self‑service functionalities, and maintaining knowledge of various platform integrations.
  • Provide onboarding support for new clients, their team members, and accounts to ensure a smooth and effective quality‑controlled onboarding process across multiple products.
  • Strictly adhere to internal procedures, processing deadlines, quality‑controlled operational processes, and LSTA/LMA standards for processing and closure of primary and secondary par loan transactions and/or trades.
  • Pro‑actively identify internal and external account and system related issues and work seamlessly with internal partners and management on resolution plans and escalations.
  • Capture and channel user feedback through proper communication and listening skills, partnering with leaders, peers, product associates, sales, and relationship managers on required projects to serve clients and facilitate continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Be willing and able to cross‑train with neighboring divisions to provide an agile workforce capable of handling issues and engaging with joint clients.
Compensation/Benefits Information

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $45,559 to $60,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
