The Associate Loan Officer (ALO) is a sourcing agent for Archwest’s top-producing Loan Officers — think sales analyst / sales development representative for private lending. The mission is simple: get real estate investors on the phone. The ALO sources and qualifies investor leads through high-volume outbound and inbound follow-up, books qualified meetings for paired Loan Officers, and keeps the pipeline full so top LOs can spend their time closing. This is a high-activity, high-energy role for someone who is hungry to learn, exceptional on the phone, and eager to build a career in real estate finance. It is the first step on a path toward owning a book of business as a Loan Officer. This position reports to sales leadership and works in close partnership with assigned Loan Officers.
Essential Functions
- Outbound Sourcing: Execute high-volume outbound prospecting — phone, email, and LinkedIn — against targeted lists of real estate investors and borrowers to generate qualified opportunities for paired Loan Officers.
- Inbound Qualification & Routing: Qualify inbound leads from website submissions, marketing campaigns, and referrals within SLA; determine borrower profile (experience level, deal type, geography, product need) and route the strongest opportunities to the appropriate Loan Officer.
- Booking Meetings: Set qualified meetings and keep top Loan Officers’ calendars full of real, well-qualified opportunities — owning the top of the funnel so LOs can focus on closing.
- Pipeline Hygiene: Maintain rigorous lead and activity hygiene in Salesforce — logging all outreach, updating lead status, and tagging routing rationale with clear next steps and dates.
- Speed-to-Lead: Respond to new inbound demand quickly, meeting speed-to-lead standards and ensuring no qualified borrower goes uncontacted.
- Learning the Craft: Build foundational credit and product knowledge through structured onboarding and ongoing exposure to Loan Officer deal flow — progressing toward a Loan Officer seat based on activity, results, and demonstrated aptitude.
- Strong communication and phone presence — able to build rapport and engage real estate investors at first contact.
- High energy and high activity tolerance — comfortable with volume-based daily outreach targets (calls, emails, touches).
- Hungry to learn, coachable, and genuinely curious about private lending, real estate investing, and credit products.
- Naturally good at talking to people; persistent, personable, and resilient.
- Comfort with high-volume, technology-driven outreach — including CRM-based lead management (Salesforce), AI-assisted prospecting and qualification tools, and automated multi-channel sequencing.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong data-hygiene discipline.
- Results-oriented with a drive to hit and exceed activity and qualified-meeting targets.
- Comfort operating in a hybrid office environment.
Education and Experience
- 0–1 years in sales, financial services, or customer-facing roles; high-volume outreach or SDR experience preferred.
