Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Associate Attorney for a highly respected boutique litigation firm in Glendale, CA. This opportunity is available on a hybrid or onsite basis depending on candidate preference.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This Associate Attorney role offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative and mentorship-driven law firm that focuses on business and insurance coverage litigation. In this role, you will work directly with senior attorneys to manage a diverse caseload while receiving the guidance and support to deepen your litigation expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle a caseload of insurance coverage litigation matters from inception to resolution
• Draft and edit legal documents including pleadings, motions, and coverage opinions
• Conduct legal research and formulate litigation strategies
• Represent corporate clients in hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings
• Collaborate with firm partners and senior attorneys to ensure exceptional legal outcomes
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to the firm’s high standard of service

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California
• Litigation experience required; insurance litigation experience preferred but not mandatory
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis; familiarity with Clio or similar billing software is a plus
• A collaborative, eager learner seeking long-term growth in a supportive firm culture

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This direct hire role offers a starting salary of $140,000-$170,000 annually, depending on experience, with a guaranteed year-end bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. Additional perks include covered parking and flexible hybrid work arrangements.
