Velera Solutions, LLC seeks an Associate Learning Professional to deliver virtual classroom training and blended learning programs for financial institutions. You will create customized presentations, apply adult learning principles, and ensure knowledge transfer to improve job performance.

Responsibilities include facilitating technical virtual trainings, developing curricula, and delivering client-facing sessions.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Adult Learning, Education, or related field or equivalent training/experience.
• 0–2 years training and development experience including needs analysis, program development, training delivery, and performance consulting.
• Experience with a learning management system (LMS).
• Knowledge of payment processing and related systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop collaborative relationships with business units, SMEs, and L&OD staff to identify learning opportunities and close knowledge gaps.
• Facilitate technical virtual classroom programs and quarterly calendar class training for financial institutions on Velera solutions, systems and services.
• Deliver client-facing billable training sessions as required and provide status updates to management.
• Apply ADDIE blended learning design for new/existing clients and adapt content with internal partners.
• Adhere to Velera brand guidelines in all training materials and deliver other duties as assigned.

The Opportunity: The Associate Learning Professional will deliver virtual classroom training and blended learning instruction, delivering programs utilizing current adult learning principles and theories, and ensure the transfer of knowledge to enhance job performance. This role requires an entry level knowledge of Velera products and services. This individual will create and deliver customized presentations to meet the requirements of each financial institution engagement.

Day in the Life: Develop collaborative relationships with various business units, subject matter experts, and L&OD staff to identify learning opportunities to close knowledge or performance gaps, and gather source content for learning curriculum. Facilitate technical virtual classroom programs. Facilitate quarterly calendar class training for our financial institutions on a variety of topics regarding Velera solutions, systems and services. Deliver client facing billable training sessions as required. Provide regular updates to department management of status of all development activities, completion of milestones, and potential conflicts. Use a variety of training methods to engage participants and enhance learner retention and performance. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through observation, feedback, learner retention and a variety of assessment mechanisms to ensure a positive client experience. As needed Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate (ADDIE) blended learning that aligns with adult learning principles for new/existing clients and proactively provide solutions to enhance training content, and delivery of training to financial institutions in partnership with internal partners. Adhere to style guidelines and design standards that conform with Velera’s marketing brand for the development of all training materials. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Adult Learning, Education, or related course-work or equivalent training and/or experience.
• Zero (0) to Two (2) years training and development experience, including needs analysis, program development, training delivery, and performance consulting required.
• Experience with a learning management system.
• Payment processing, Fiserv, FIS, Mastercard, Visa knowledge (preferred).
• Display high vigilance of data security.
• Demonstrated adult learning and ADDIE model principles.
• Ability to travel as needed, 0-10%

Pay Equity

Pay Equity $54,000.00 - $68,800.00 Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
