The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is launching the Institutional AI Literacy Enablement Team (IAILET), an institution-wide initiative responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering the workforce learning and development strategy for Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through collaboration with stakeholders across education, technology, and workforce development, IAILET supports the safe, responsible, and effective adoption of AI tools across the organization. The Associate Leadership Practitioner plays a critical role in supporting the operations, coordination, and growth of IAILET programming. The Associate Leadership Practitioner will collaborate with subject matter experts, educational partners, and institutional stakeholders to help expand AI literacy and learning opportunities across the workforce.
UT MD Anderson is a leading institution focused on cancer care, research, education, and prevention. Reporting through the Leadership Institute, the Associate Leadership Practitioner will work closely with colleagues in Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI), the Division of Education & Training, Nursing Education, and other workforce development teams to develop, coordinate, and scale AI-related learning experiences. The Associate Leadership Practitioner will support learner engagement, educational resource management, event coordination, and training operations while periodically working onsite to support institutional activities and learning events.
The ideal candidate brings a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies, with experience supporting technology-related learning initiatives, workforce development programs, digital transformation efforts, or educational operations. Successful candidates demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to promote responsible AI adoption and innovative learning solutions.
Experience evaluating AI learning resources, coordinating educational programs, supporting learner engagement, and facilitating learning events is highly desirable. Education, experience, licenses, and certifications should align with the requirements listed below.
Minimum $44.47/hour - Midpoint $55.53/hour - Maximum $66.59/hour
Hybrid Position with onsite presence required to support events.
