Kelly Services is hiring an Associate Laboratory Technician for a 12-month contract in Midland, MI. This onsite role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a pay rate of $22 per hour.

The position involves preparing and analyzing ion-exchange resin samples, reporting results, and performing routine lab maintenance and calibration. The ideal candidate has an Associate or BS in Chemistry or related science, hands-on experience with lab techniques, and strong teamwork and communication

• Experience with laboratory and analytical chemistry techniques.
• Experience in a business-technical services environment is a big plus.

Job Title: Associate Laboratory Technician

Primary Location: Midland, MI 48642

12-month contract - Onsite role

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Pay rate: $22/hr.

Responsibilities

• This opportunity is located in a customer-focused laboratory setting that evaluates ion exchange resin samples as a service to our customers.
• The candidate will be expected to prepare ion exchange resin samples for lab analysis and analyze the samples using various testing equipment.
• Timely, accurate reporting of results will be an important metric for success.
• The candidate will also perform basic maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Candidate may also be required to perform special testing or non-routine tasks with minimal supervision.
• Participation in department and personal safety programs will be expected.
• The laboratory evaluates many samples per year, using a wide array of testing methods; this requires emphasis on flexibility, teamwork, and good communications skills.
