The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an associate to join the Labor & Emplyoment team in our Miami office. Our cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and unique multidisciplinary practice that gives you the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and to participate in business development and client-facing activities. About You:

  • You have 3-6 years of employment law experience;
  • You have employment counseling experience with a management-side law firm;
  • You have solid litigation experience, including motion practice, drafting and responding to discovery requests and ideally will have taken/defended depositions;
  • You have strong research and brief writing skills;
  • You have strong communication, organization and time management skills;
  • You are comfortable working on multiple matters simultaneously;
  • You have a J.D. degree and strong academic credentials; and
  • You ideally are physically located in Miami and are admitted in Florida and in good standing with its bar (or are registered to sit for the July 2025 Florida Bar exam or are willing to register and take the February 2026 Florida Bar exam). Alternatively, we will consider associate candidates for our Illinois, New York, Washington, DC, California or Texas offices who are currently admitted and in good standing in both Florida and the state of the office they would join.
