Job summary

The Summit Church is seeking a Help lead the Summit Kids Ministry at Capital Hills under the direction of the Kids Director. You will build relationships with families and provide resources for growth, while coordinating weekend services and large volunteer teams with administrative precision.

You will work with the campus staff to support the broader team and participate in church-wide events, ensuring schedules, events, and ministry goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Campus Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to the Summit Kids EPOD; seek outreach opportunities; attend weekly campus and Summit Kids staff meetings; participate in campus events; adapt to campus needs as directed by the Kids Director.
• Weekend Execution: Oversee weekend service execution with Summit Kids team; ensure volunteer coverage for Thursday and Sunday; manage groups and Rock data; handle last-min volunteers gaps as needed.
• Project Management: Develop event timelines for campus events; promote and communicate Summit Kids events; coordinate meeting agendas to stay on schedule.
• Central Responsibilities: Attend bi-weekly kids meeting; participate in church-wide events; serve at church-wide events as needed.

As one church that meets in many locations, there are several times throughout the year that Summit holds church-wide events in an effort to do whatever it takes to reach all people. All staff members are expected to serve at these church-wide events regardless of the positions they hold.Such events include, but are not limited to: Easter services, church-wide prayer meetings, Good Friday service, and Christmas services. Serving expectations will be communicated in advance of each event.
