The Summit Church in Knightdale is seeking a dedicated Student Ministry Campus Director to engage and disciple teenagers. This role requires strong leadership in recruiting and developing volunteers while working closely with the centralized student ministry support team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for student ministry, effective teaching skills for middle and high school audiences, and the ability to connect with students and their families. The position is full-time and requires participation in church-wide events.
The Student Ministry Campus Director must possess mature Christian character and a strong desire to reach and disciple teenagers. They must have a proven track record of engaging teenagers (and their families) in meaningful relationships and be extraordinarily disciplined in the recruitment, development, and care of volunteers. The Student Ministry Campus Director will also work in tandem with a centralized student ministry support team, collaborating with the central team in creating effective student ministry at the campus and at times, the all-church level.

The hours for this position are expected to be 40 hours per week. As one church that meets in many locations, there are several times throughout the year that Summit holds church-wide events in an effort to do whatever it takes to reach all people. All staff members are expected to serve at these church-wide events regardless of the positions they hold.
Such events include, but are not limited to: Easter services, church-wide prayer meetings, Good Friday service, and Christmas services. Serving expectations will be communicated in advance of each event.
