The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for an associate to join the Intellectual Property team in our Chicago office. Our cohesive and collaborative team has a diverse and multidisciplinary practice, providing the opportunity to work closely with shareholders and participate in business development and client-facing activities. About You:

• You have 2-5 years of experience with intellectual property prosecution and litigation matters, particularly patent and trademark matters;
• You have patent drafting experience, and strong research and brief writing skills;
• You possess strong communication, organization, and time management skills;
• You have an Electrical Engineering degree (or its equivalent);
• You have a JD degree (or its equivalent), strong academic credentials, and are admitted in (and in good standing with) Illinois and as a patent attorney before the USPTO (or are taking steps to become admitted).

Compensation:

• $230,000 - $280,000 annual base salary
