Saab, Inc. is seeking an Associate Integration & Test Engineer to join our engineering team in Syracuse, NY, supporting missile systems development.

You will conduct testing on electromechanical systems, author test procedures, and collaborate with design and manufacturing to move products from development to production. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.

Saab, Inc. is currently seeking an Associate Integration & Test Engineer. This forward-thinking, detail-oriented individual will join Saab’s engineering team to support the development of missile systems.

Compensation Range

$72,000 - $90,000

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or a similar field.
• Ability to work in a lab environment and apply logical and methodical approaches to execute basic test procedures.
• Capability to solve problems and apply analytical thinking to develop solutions that are both innovative and practical.
• Ability to adhere to Saab quality systems and processes.
• Ability to collaborate with managers and teammates to establish expectations.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to apply basic engineering skills and knowledge.
• Basic ability to read electrical schematics.
• Basic ability to read mechanical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Experience with LabVIEW to create simulation environments.
• Experience with software validation and verification.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD specifications for testing.
• Experience with testing electronics for EMC/EMI.
