Saab, Inc. is seeking an Associate Integration & Test Engineer to join our Syracuse, NY engineering team.

You will conduct testing on electromechanical systems, including software, write test procedures, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to move products from development to production. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the aptitude to read schematics and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or similar field.
• Ability to work in a lab environment and apply logical and methodical approaches to execute basic test procedures.
• Capability to solve problems and apply analytical thinking to develop innovative and practical solutions.
• Ability to adhere to Saab quality systems and processes.
• Ability to collaborate with managers and teammates to establish expectations.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
• Ability to apply basic engineering skills and knowledge.
• Basic ability to read electrical schematics.
• Basic ability to read mechanical drawings.

Saab, Inc. is currently seeking an Associate Integration & Test Engineer. This forward-thinking, detail-oriented individual will join Saab’s engineering team to support the development of missile systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing on electromechanical systems, including software.
• Author test procedures and test plans.
• Collaborate with design teams to determine the best methods for testing.
• Work with manufacturing teams to facilitate the transition from development to production.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of test benches.
• Issue test anomaly reports.
• Conduct root cause analysis.

Compensation Range: $72,000 - $90,000

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Required Qualifications:
