Job summary

PETA in the United States is seeking support for the Intake & Assessment Division to assist with inquiries from the general public relating to domestic-animal and wildlife-cruelty issues.

You will evaluate calls and emails, perform research on cruelty-to-animals cases, and maintain confidential files while supporting after-hours duties.

• Provide research support on miscellaneous cruelty-to-animals and animal-neglect issues
• Handle cruelty-to-animals and animal-neglect cases
• Maintain confidential files, correspondence files, case reports, and other departmental reports
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
• Assist with occasional after hours responsibilities

Requirements

The hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.65. The ultimate hourly pay within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
