Job summary

Rational 360 is hiring an Associate, Insights & Intelligence to support and grow our integrated research and analytics offerings. The role is ideal for early-career professionals ready to take ownership of discrete client tasks in a fast-paced public affairs environment.

You will execute research projects, build proficiency across social listening and primary research platforms, and contribute to a collaborative team at Rational 360, with a hybrid work model and in-person days at our DC HQ.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in research, analytics, or communications.
• Agency or consulting background is a plus.
• Experience with social listening platforms is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills with large datasets.
• Interest in AI and willingness to experiment.

Responsibilities

• Execute social listening and media intelligence workflows.
• Support primary research projects including surveys and interviews.
• Analyze data across sources and inform client strategy.
• Produce client-facing deliverables (presentations, memos, data visualizations).
• Manage your own workstreams and timelines.
