Associate Inside Educational Sales Consultant, Vocabulary.com

IXL Learning, a developer of personalized learning products used by millions worldwide, is seeking an energetic, focused individual to join our Inside Sales team for Vocabulary.com. The platform is rapidly growing, serving about 3 million students and over 56,000 schools and districts globally. #LI-NF1

The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, tenacious, and possess a natural sales instinct. Experience with technology and customer assistance is preferred. We seek a self-starter to support our expanding customer base.

This full-time role is based in our Raleigh, NC office. The work schedule is Monday-Friday, with an option to work from home one day per week.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Follow up on transactional sales leads and input data for processing
  • Make outbound calls and qualify inbound sales leads to communicate Vocabulary.com’s value and identify customer needs
  • Ensure timely processing of leads and support sales campaigns
  • Identify growth opportunities to achieve sales targets
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations using screen sharing technology
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, inside sales, or education, preferably in edtech or software
  • High motivation, energy, and drive to succeed
  • Effective communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal (telephone) and written communication skills
  • Understanding of web applications; Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Ability to accommodate various time zones is a plus
